It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda K. Azinger (Kirkwood, Illinois), born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Arthur and Jesse Faye Johnston (Shadwell); her stepfather Floyd Smith; and her sister Ardith Hansen (Robert). She is survived by : her husband Albert Azinger; her daughters, Natalie Eness (Daniel) of Ankeny and Catherine McAlister (Terrence) of Homewood; her grandchildren, Garrett McAlister, Hilary McAlister, Maxwell Eness, Nicholas McAlister, Grace Eness, Joshua McAlister, Ella Eness and Samuel Eness; and her stepsiblings, Diane Crow of Jacksonville, NC, Terry Smith of Cape Girardeau, MO and Lyle Smith (Mariana) of Springfield, MO.. She is also survived by friends, and wherever her kids and grandkids.

Memorial donations may be made to the Illinois Symphony Orchestra or to the First Baptist Church in Bloomington, Illinois.
