Norman Blickem Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Blickem of Knoxville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, D. Wanda Blickem (Brown) and Vernon Joe Blickem; and his brothers, Vernon Joe Blickem Jr. and William E. Blickem. He is survived by : his wife C. Jo Dawdy; his daughters, Angela Hickerson (Stuart) of Williamsfield, Julie Johnson (Brian) of Gilson and Nicolette Fox of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Ursula Ganci (Darin) of Bloomington, Ceara Hickerson of Winter Park, Aubra Hickerson (David Tomecek) of Chicago, Clayton Hickerson of Winter Haven, Tara Brownlee (Josh) of Gilson, Dane Johnson of Gilson, Luke Johnson (Rylie Yoho) of Gilson, Paige Fox (Jesse Wenger) of Fairview, Saylor Fox of Knoxville and Teagan Fox of Knoxville; his great grandchildren, August, Ethan Ganci, Gabriella, Gracelyn Johnson, Mackenzie Brownlee and Rynlee Johnson; and his sisters, Mary Higgins (Bill) of Knoxville and Linda Feely of Galesburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
