Lillian Downey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Downey of Lacon, Illinois, born in Lone Tree, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Pearson and Dora Pearson (Copple); her husband Charles W. Downey Sr.; her siblings, Robert, Carol and Marion; and her sons, Charles Jr. and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Bogner (Larry) of Lacon, Jerry Downey of Lacon, Audrey Downey of Lacon and Beth Ashmore (Steve) of Lacon. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Lacon cemetery and memorial contributions can be made to Unity Point Methodist Hospice.
