William A. Piculas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William A. Piculas of Lake in the Hills, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Piculas and Panagiota "Pat" Piculas. He is survived by: his siblings, Louie Piculas and Angie Angelos (Peter); his nephew Angelo Angelos (Nicole); his great-niece Violet Angelos; and his great-nephew Andrew Angelos. He is also survived by many close friends, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church (525 Church Rd, Elgin, IL 60123). A burial was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crystal Lake Memorial Park (8012 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake, IL 60012).
