He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edith L. Mahoney; his children, Jason Mahoney (Rachelle), Jill Cornell (Andy) and Kelli Pawelczak (Neil); his grandchildren, Nickolas, Cody, Braden, Jacob, Wyatt, Alyssa, Samantha, David, Kennedy, Matthew and Piper; and his brother Garrett Mahoney.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Services (415 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home (415 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org) or K9s for Warriors.
