He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar H. Hauter and Myrtle Hauter (Blaser); his son Bradley David Hauter; and his sister Mardelle Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Marie Fulscher; his daughter Dianne Romei (Robert) of Lake Zurich, IL; his grandchildren, Pierce Romei of Lake Zurich, IL, Robert W. Hauter (Sarah) of McHenry, IL, Allison Romei of Schaumburg, IL and Ellysa Hauter (Mark Feye) of Wauconda; his great grandchildren, Jude Feye and Marcellus Feye of Wauconda, IL; his daughter-in-law Deborah Hauter of Wauconda, IL; and his cousin Shirley Brinkmeyer of Quincy, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Services (415 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
