She was predeceased by : her parents, Rosa Luthi and Godfred Luthi; her husband John Wegner; her daughter Cynthia Flodin; and her son-in-law Bill Link.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Swichtenberg (Keith), Janice Link, Carol Wendt (Chuck), Diana Wegner, Linda Heir (Warren), David Wegner (Janis) and Tamora Ramsdell (Jon); and her brother Harold Luthi (Sheryl). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (24500 N Old McHenry Rd, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047). A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Viola Lake Cemetery.
