He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Loretta "Peach" Gawne; and his children, Bill (Marla), Julie, John, Peggy DiNino (Mike), Mark (Peggy), Steve (Kathryn), Victoria Schnitker (Brian) and Cynthia Maxedon (Chris).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar St Francis de Sales Catholic Church (33 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
