He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Furey and Pearl Furey; and his siblings, Thomas M. Furey and Judith A. Furey. He is survived by: his wife Judith K. Furey; his children, Michael Furey of Crystal Lake, Lisa Furey (Owen Rice) of Franklin, TN and Steven Furey (Jamie) of Franklin, TN; and his grandchildren, Julia Katherine, George Thomas, William Patrick, Michael Francis, Katherine Marie, Theodore James and John Patrick.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
