It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Van Drunen (Lansing, Illinois), who passed away on June 21, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Van Drunen; her brother Robert Frieling (late Nellie); and her parents, Menno Frieling and Alice Frieling. She is survived by: her children, Glenn Van Drunen, Janet Tillema (Mark) and Roger Van Drunen (Tracy); her grandchildren, Abby, Allison Tillema, Andrew Keneson, Grace and Philip Van Drunen; and her siblings, Donald Frieling (Jan), Marlene Schoon (John), Shirley Schurman (Pete), Kenneth Frieling (Shari), Nancy Hoffman (late Robert), Beverly Rozendal (Edwin) and Linda Bell (Harold). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Illiana Christian High School .
