He was predeceased by: his parents, James L., Sr. and Barbara Horn (Riddle); and his brother Jay Horn. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lynch; his children, Shelli Owens of Santa Barbara, California and Lani Horn of Santa Barbara, California; and his sister Karri Irvin of Lawrenceville, Illinois. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
