It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jane Thomas of Lebanon, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. Radford Ehret and Bernice Ehret; her son David Stephen Thomas; her brother Charles "Bud" Ehret; and her sister-in-law Shirley Ehret.

She is survived by : her children, Jill Williams (James) of Lebanon, IL and Ken Thomas (Christie) of O'Fallon, IL; her sister Lana Ehret of Tucson, AZ; her grandchildren, Grant, Kathryn (Matthew), Emily, James (Emily), Rebecca (Kurtis), Emilee, Jason and Maddie Jo; and her niece Cathleen Zarczynski (Keith). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
