He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Missey and Mary Ellen Missey (Gass); and his brother James A. Missey. He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn Baer of Belleville, Clark Missey (Ruth) of Summerfield, Jane Missey of Belleville, Judy Missey of Belleville and Bonnie Britsch (Jeff) of Lebanon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
