She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Jogerst and Rose Jogerst (Hildebrandt); her husbands, Donald W. Stich and Ernie; her brothers, R. Dale and Bruce Jogerst; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Wolfram, Edith Jogerst, Lorraine Jogerst and Bill Wolfram.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Stich (Sonya), Scott Stich (Lisa), Timothy Stich (Tammy) and Rose Marie Bruegger (Todd); her grandchildren, Shawn Stich (Amanda), Bradley Stich (MarySue), Alicia Stich (Joey Curtis), Caitlin Isenberger (John), Emily Stich (Connor Belanger), Stanley Bruegger (Ashly), Neil Bruegger (Bria), Michaela Stich (Cory Chanthaluxay) and Brady Stich (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Gunnar, Owen, Ava, Grace, Samuel, Charlotte, James, Drake, Ronan, Aleah and Mason; her brother Gene Jogerst of Scales Mound; her sister-in-law Nyla Jogerst of Freeport; and her friends, Laverne and Phyllis Blasing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Leamons Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Lena, IL 61048). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Carol's name.
