He was predeceased by: his grandfather Edwin J.; his uncle James; and his aunt Maureen. He is survived by: his parents, Jennifer Marie Sweeney and Edwin Joseph "Joe" Sweeney, Jr. (Cheryl Yachnin); his brother Spencer David Sweeney; his grandparents, Mildred M. Sweeney, Linda and Brad Peterson; his aunts and uncles, Jill, Warren (Jean), Jenny Sweeney, Michael Amory and William Peterson (Morgan); his cousins, Rhiannon Sweeney Amory, Declan, Tripp, Colton, Jake and Alex Peterson; his friends, Samantha and Anna Yachnin; his pets, Sweet Baby Ray, Sweet Lou, Sweetness, Buddha and King Pongo; Mickey and Finn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Tuesday's Child, which helped the Sweeney family immensely in the past.
