He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman W. Funk and Grace D. Zehnder Funk. He is survived by: his wife Constance "Connie" Elizabeth Dunlap Funk; his daughter Deborah Weiss (Joseph); his grandchildren, Andrew and Lauren Weiss; his brother-in-law Doug Dunlap (Billie); and his nephew Dr. Christopher Dunlap.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Marsh Funeral Home (305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (33100 Hunt Club Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048).
