She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Tangman Sr. and Mary (Murdock); her spouse Orvel Duane Nelson; her son Brian Nelson; and her sister Gayle Waterman.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Nelson (Toni), Debbie Short (Billy) and Kim McFarland (Josh); and her siblings, Donald Tangman (Ruthie), Edward Tangman, Eugene Tangman (Mary), Carolyn Grigg and Elba Jean Smith. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the family.
