She was predeceased by: her parent Hisaichi; her husband Abe S. Miyake; and her siblings, Frank Tokirio and Yoshie Hori. She is survived by: her children, Greg Miyake (Patti), Cynthia Funai (Bryan), Jason Miyake (Susan) and David Miyake (Sarita); her grandchildren, Colin, Heather, Jessica, Kevin, Kayla, Alyssa and Leilani; and her great grandchild Mio.
A reception was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haben Funeral Home & Crematory (8057 Niles Center Rd, Skokie, IL 60077).
