With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony J Karas (Lisle, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Skuteris; his brother Sam Karas (Edie); his parents-in-law, George and Helen Skuteris; and his siblings-in-law, Regina Skuteris and Spiro Skuteris (Violet).
He is survived by: his children, Regina Devers (Jim), Peter Karas (Debbie), Liz Brown (Mark) and Mike Karas (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Andrew (Nicholas Harrison), Kyliegh, Stephen (Raechel Karas), Brooke Roarke (Chris), Adam (Alex Devers), Wade (Abby) and Nico (Nolen Brown). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church of Chicago or Western Illinois University Leatherneck Club appreciated.
