It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lucille Briggance-Raney of Litchfield, Illinois, born in Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James William and Roberta Lucille Morrison (Busby); her husband Michael Raney; her brothers, Scott Morrison and Brian Morrison; and her stepmother Ruby J. Morrison.

She is survived by : her siblings, Terry Morrison (Linda) of Tilden, IL, Carol Morrison of Coulterville, IL and Tammy Zimmerman (Eddie) of Coulterville, IL; her nephews, Steve Morrison (Minta), James Morrison (Devika), Bobby Zimmerman and Cameron Morrison-Rohde; and her niece Julie Zimmerman.

Memorial donations may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society.
