He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nass and Verna Nass; and his brother Rodger Nass. He is survived by: his wife Gay; his daughters, Amy Clavio (Tony) and Laura Semprini (Jason); his granddaughter Shalai Semprini; his brothers, Richard Nass (Barbara) and Greg Nass (Cindy); his sister-in-law Marianne Nass; his mother-in-law Evalyne Clark; and his siblings' children, Stephanie Nass, Tyler Nass and Blake Nass.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
