She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Kiefer; her parents, Helen Schar and Richard Schar; and her brother Gary Schar. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer and Eugene; her grandchildren, Robert, Emmeleth and Emphraim; her great grandchildren, Antonia and Mackenzie; and her sisters-in-law, Vicki Moran and Linda Kiefer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
