We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Allen Nelson of Louisville, Illinois, born in Morris, Illinois. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Allen Nelson to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nels Peter Nelson and Chloe May Nelson (Hallam); his son Thomas A. Nelson; his former life partner Karen A. Nelson; his close friend Matt Swisher; his siblings, Betty Paxton, Iona Burkett, Hershel, Leonard, Elwood and Dean Melrose; and his nephew Michael Melton.

He is survived by : his close friend Bonnie Moore of Louisville; his children, Peggy McPherson (Tyrone) of Joliet, Lisa M. Cavanaugh, Kimeri Shull (Darrin), Bill Nelson (Jodi) and Jennifer L. Nelson; his grandchildren, Amanda (R. J. Rodrick), Stephanie (Ryan Seifers), Austin (River Nelson), Felicia (Anthony Nelson) and Michael Michon; and his sister Jan Harris of Dwight. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial donations in his memory are suggested to the family.
