She was predeceased by : her parents, Nicholas "Lyle" Bateman and Zola Leona Bateman (Fulk); and her sister Leona "Ruth" Weber. She is survived by : her husband Bill McKnelly of Louisville; her children, Darlene Fatheree (Joe) of Effingham, Marla Gillett (Bob) of Kinmundy and Darrell McKnelly (Lisa) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Taylor Fatheree (Hannah) of Knoxville, Haley Klockenga (Hayden) of Mt. Vernon, Seth Gillett of Kinmundy, Tyler Gillett (Oceana) of Fort Branch, Anna Gillett of Kinmundy, Sarah Gillett of Kinmundy, Emma Gillett of Kinmundy, Lindsey Davis (Zach) of Louisville and Kyle McKnelly (Ashley) of Louisville; and her great grandchildren, Beckham Klockenga, Jase Davis and Grant Davis. She is also survived by great-grandchildren on the way; and a number of nieces and nephews.
