With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Yvonne JoAnn Parker of Machesney Park, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Yvonne JoAnn left this world on August 29, 2023 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hanson and Grace Hanson (Brothen); her husband Maynard N. Parker; her son Randy Parker; and her sister-in-law Patty Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Parker, Kent Parker (Linda) and Lorie Parker-Weinrich; her grandchildren, Trevor Parker (Megan), Megan McGuire (Drew), Michaela Parker, Chadd Parker, Noah, Seth, Grace and Chloe Weinrich; her great grandchildren, Graham, Rowan, Fitzgerald, Caden, Emersyn, Caleb, Bobby, Knox, Dylan, Brayden, Maya and Cyrus; and her siblings, Richard Hanson, Sonja Nelson (Don), Robert Hanson (Kay), Patricia Hanson, Barbara Leis (Larry) and James Hanson (Deb). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3300 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Yvonne's name to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or to Transitions Hospice.
