He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Severns (Jack) and Lois D. Bugg; his brothers, Robert and Jim; his daughters, Samantha Nelson (Eric) of Mackinaw and Sabrina Severns (PJ Macklin) of Chicago; his granddaughters, Teagan and Alivia; and his siblings, Janis Fisher (John) of Fort Worth, TX, Linda Young (Larry) of Mackinaw and Errol W. Severns of Mississippi.

Memorials may be made to Mackinaw Rescue Squad.
