He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis Williams and Delci Fuller Williams; his wife Mary L. McGinnis; his children, Damond, Zonya Tomlinson and Star Mitchell of Mackinaw; and his sister Dorothy Lawson of Colorado. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
