It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Cremeens (Mackinaw, Illinois), born in Hopedale, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2011, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Cremeens and Hazel Brighton Cremeens; and his former life partner Lois J. Simpson. He is survived by : his wife Carrie "Sis" Shaw; his children, Arlene Miller of Springfield, OR, Janice Williams of Atlanta, IL, Audrey Greiner (Jerry) of Mackinaw, IL, Delores Easton (Robert) of Bartonville, IL and Jack Cremeens (Pam) of Cartersville, GA; his foster son Gary Heitzman (Jean Ann) of Lake Placid, FL; his stepchildren, Jamie Gresham (Larry) of Washington, IL, Orie Shaw (Ruth) of Decatur, IL and William Shaw (Vicky) of Wayne City, IL; and his siblings, Lois Cremeens of Hopedale, IL, Joyce Cremeens of Hopedale, IL and Ronald Cremeens (Marilyn) of Hopedale, IL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in memory of Lyle to; Mackinaw Rescue Squad or St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
