He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Pamela; his brother Bob Thierry of Los Angeles, CA; his daughters, Theresa Sargent of Harrisburg, NC and Tammy Crawley of Atlanta, GA; and his stepgrandson Grant Whitaker of Willets, CA. He was also cherished by five granddaughters, four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Mackinaw United Methodist Church.
