With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Dennis (Mackinaw, Illinois), born in Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on November 15, 2010 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Dennis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James S. Kono and Mary K. Mitsutome Kono. She is survived by : her children, Mara Robbins (Doug) of Morton and Jamie Dennis (Peggy) of Mooresville, IN; her grandchildren, Alison Dennis, Lani Dennis, James Dennis Jr., Tony Robbins, Jared Robbins and Justin Robbins; and her siblings, Helen Nomi (Robert) of Hawaii, Naomi Yamoshiro (Charles) of Hawaii and James I. Kono. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Mackinaw Rescue or Mackinaw Christian Church.
