He was predeceased by: his parent Arbon G. Grossman; his stepfather John J; and his brother David G. Wetherell. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Phelps Grossman of Macomb; his aunt Phyllis Anderson of Beardstown; his sister Gloria Smith (Jeffrey) of Oklahoma; his nephews, David James Wetherell, Jeffrey Scott Smith Jr. (Gabrielle) and Weston Andrew Smith; and his great-niece Kennedy Rose Smith.
