Carol Watson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Watson of Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on September 28, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gervase DeHaven (Cappy) and Vada Alexander DeHaven; her brother Howard DeHaven; and her brothers-in-law, Randall Watson, Leon Harrell and Charles Cavett.

She is survived by: her husband Gene Watson; her children, Rita Dorethy (Mike) of Macomb, Elgin Watson (Kris) of Kildeer and Kyle Watson of Industry; her grandchildren, Kristopfer Dorethy of Macomb, Kiersten Zaehringer (Mark) of Macomb and John Watson of Kildeer; and her siblings, Harry DeHaven (Lola) of Galesburg and Beverly Harrell of Kewanee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to attend a graveside service at Camp Creek Cemetery that will be held at 3 p. m. following the service with social distancing protocols in place.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
