She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Walton and Edith Snowden Walton; her husband Roger Gilbert; her children, Paul Gilbert and Dotti Derry; and her son-in-law Dee Stracker.

She is survived by: her children, Rodney Gilbert of Macomb, IL, Cindy Dimmitt of Champaign, IL and Penni Stracker of Vermont, IL; and her friend Clayvail. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
