He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd V. Ebert and Mabel M. Ebert (McKee); and his brother Norman Ebert. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Faith Darling; his granddaughters, Brittney Lear and Ashley Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Landon Lear, Brooklyn Lear and David Carpenter; and his brother David Ebert (Joan) of Tucson, AZ..
