With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Schutte of Macomb, Illinois, born in Kahoka, Missouri, who passed away on July 28, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Kirchner and Theresa Renner Kirchner; her husband Edward Schutte; her children, Harold Schutte and Rebecca Schluter; her son-in-law Mike Brierton; her siblings, Ida Mae Stutz, Clara Kirchner, Lester Kirchner and Howard Kirchner; and her siblings-in-law, Herbert Schutte, Pete Burns, Paul Schutte, Ted Rodis, R. F. Garrison, Jim Prior, Doreen Schutte, Mary Rose Prior, Carmie Schutte, Lorene Kirchner and Dorothy Kirchner.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Schutte (Becky) of Council Bluffs, Larry Schutte (Mary) of Augusta, Theresa Brierton of Abilene, Cecilia Steinkamp (Kenny) of Greenwood, Kathleen Lenihan (Michael) of Cupertino and Linda Bastian (Marc) of New Palestine, Indiana; her children-in-law, Carolyn Schutte of Innsbrook and Keith Schluter; her siblings-in-law, Dennis Schutte, Joe Schutte (Mary), Rita Burns, Ruthanna Garrison, Joan Rodis and Jane Styczynski; and her grandchildren, Neil Schutte (Kristy), Erica Schutte (Micah Lepore), Sarah Jordan, Tim Brierton (Heather), Julie Dougherty (Bill), Catherine Brierton, Audra Schaefer (Joe), Allison, Anna Schutte, Matthew Steinkamp (Krystan), Megan Rogers (Bill), Justin (Julie), Amy Schutte Uffelmann (Nick), Erin Schluter, Madelyn Fricke (Alex), Thomas Lenihan, Emily, Nicholas and Kyle Bastian. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
