He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Ward and Pearl Foxall Hillyer; his daughter Janet Lynn; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his spouse Margaret Elaine Strader; his sons, Michael Hillyer (Maria) of Bentonville and Jeffrey of Macomb, Illinois; his granddaughter Oksana Hillyer of Searcy, Arkansas; and his sister Mary Beal (Dale) of Macomb.
