He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Lapensohn and Esther Lapensohn; and his brother Robert Lapensohn. He is survived by: his wife Carole P. Petit; and his children, Scott Lapensohn of Dallas, TX, Rachel Fromal, Merrill Cole (Rick Ponce) of Macomb, IL and Kristin Cole of Sweden.
