He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Springer and Eula Kitch Springer; his grandson Anthony Lon Taggert; his stepfather Frank Porter; and his siblings, Gerald, Keith Springer and Ola Belle Jordine.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Foster; and his daughters, Lonna Lowell (Lee) of Fuquay-Varina, Janna Taggert of Macomb, Diane Springer of Macomb, Jennifer Pellhum of Macomb and Deanna Bell of Hutchinson, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Hope Rescue Squad or Grace Baptist Church building fund.
