He is survived by: his wife Doris Battin; his children, Susan Gamage (John), Ellen Pedersen (Tim) and Brian Battin (Viola); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Houch (Mitch), Eric Gamage and Sarah Agee (Scott).
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Wesley Village, Streaming Waters or Macomb Education Foundation.
