She was predeceased by: her brother Elmer Doak. She is survived by: her spouse Richard Elam; her children, Debbie Mueller (Tom) of Taylor Ridge, Teresa Randall of St. Louis and Jeff Elam (Rose) of Macomb; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hamm (Todd), Susan Coppess (Jonathan), Michael Mueller (Katie), Erica Blair (Alan), Christopher Randall (Kristen), Sean Elam (Greg Peterson), Brian Randall and Allison Entrikin (Andrew); her sister Peggy Mueller of Springfield; and her niece Candace Mueller of Springfield. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to Loaves and Fishes, Bushnell Library or Macomb Library.
