He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Thorpe; his grandchildren, Malik Mitchell and NaLeigha Mitchell; his children, Natalie Mitchell of Macomb, IL., RaLeigha Smith (Jeremy) of Antioch, TN. and Ralonda Harris of Galesburg, IL.; and his siblings, Curtis Mitchell (Coreen) of Bettendorf, IA., Rochelle Wallace (Forrest) of Monmouth, IL. and Pamela Mitchell of East Moline, IL.. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
