She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brown and Leila Thurman Brown; her former husband Howard Baumgardner; her son Howard "Duck" Baumgardner, Jr.; and her siblings, Dan Brown and Marcia Henry.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Powell; her daughters, Stacy Jo Wilson (Rod) of Table Grove and Angela Sue Smock (Gregg) of Bethalto; her stepchildren, Toby Powell (Marie) of Indianapolis and Cindy Forman (Troy) of Columbus, Indiana; her grandchildren, Trent Wilson (Alicia Livdahl), Kelsey Baxter (Brad), Kirsta Anderson (Eric), Gabrielle Barnes (Chris), Samantha Smock, Reghan Smock (Zack Catherall) and Elijah Smock; her great grandchildren, Kailey Baxter, Avilyn Baxter, Dawson Baxter, Haidyn Baxter, Allias Wilson and Emery Anderson; her siblings, Roger Brown, Eileen Gray (Amil) and Jan Yoder; and also Wade Forman.
