Ruth Hume Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Hume of Macomb, Illinois, born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter W. Volkers and Lillie B. Rhoads Volkers; and her sister Lou Ada Tennell. She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Sims (Scott) of Macomb and Michelle Marshall (Brendan) of Monmouth; her grandchildren, Rebecca Sims, Lauren Sims, Austin Marshall and Emma Marshall; her spouse Cloyd Hume; and her siblings, Victoria E. Volkers (Jim May) of Marshall, Illinois and David W. Volkers (Marie) of Galesburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
