She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Mills and Deneige Mills (Jandreau); her former spouse Waldemar M. Walter; her husband Frank Richard "Red" Nelson; her siblings, Charles Holmes Mills Jr. John, Mary Louise Mills and Lucille Davidson; her children, Charles William Walter (Karen) of Arlington, Texas, Patricia Carpenter (Jan) of Jacksonville and Doris; her stepchildren, Richard Paul Nelson (Kathy) of Augusta, John Edward Nelson of Macomb, Illinois and Terri Anne Brownfield (Tom) of Havana, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Challis Klendworth, Tricia Pfieffer and Ashley Walter. She was also cherished by 7 step-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the McDonough County Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Hospital.
