He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stiles and Helen Stiles; his wife Regina Stiles; and his siblings, Marion Homan, Harold Stiles and Kenneth Stiles.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Stiles, Chris Orner, Sherri Schlipf and Robert L. Stiles II. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
