It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Surber of Mahomet, Illinois, born in Gibson City, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Christensen and Emelia Christensen; and her son-in-law Rick Malinowski. She is survived by: her husband Donald Surber; her children, David Surber (Judy) of Fairbury, IL, Brenda Wilken (Mack) of Onarga, IL, Lisa Malinowski of Mahomet, IL, Susan Surber of Downs, IL, Sandra Lindsay (Robert) of Fisher, IL and Pam Dedic (Scot) of Downs, IL; and her siblings, Eldon Christensen (Virginia) of Gibson City, IL, Robert Christensen (Georgia Holderfield) of Aurora, IL, Clarice Ward (Charles) of Bloomington, IL and Dale Christensen (Vickie) of Libertyville, IL.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
