He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson "Jiggs" and Glenna Caulkins (Smith); his stepmother Audrey Caulkins; his siblings, Tami and Robert "Bob" Caulkins; and his brother-in-law Reggie Gaskill.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gwen Gaskill of Manito and Julie Caulkins of Manito; his siblings' children, Amber Mayhew (Earl Jr) of Grand Blanc, Rhandi Weinstock (Adam) of Northbrook, IL, Brett Caulkins of Manito and Ian Gaskill (Kourtney) of Green Valley; his stepbrother Kevin Schoonover (Julie) of Simi Valley, CA; and his siblings' children, Jasmine Wong (Nelson) of Huntsville, AL and Keith Schoonover (Jessica) of Simi Valley, CA.
