He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hurt and Betty Hurt (Griffin); his brothers, Charlie and Denny; his brothers-in-law, Bob Chepanoske and Jerry Boatman; and his nephew Jacob.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Reed); his son Jason Hurt (Tiffany); his granddaughter Audrey; his daughter Cori Friedrich (Steve); his sisters, Brenda Chepanoske and Sheryl Boatman; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Hurt and Diane Hurt.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1010 S Louisa St, Peoria, IL 61605). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (421 N Sterling Ave, West Peoria, IL 61604).
Memorial donations may be made to Greater Peoria Honor Flight and OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
