She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Backes and Anna Backes (Trebes); her former life partner Elmer Sinning; her husband Wayne Doane; her son Michael Sinning; her siblings, Elizabeth Marvin and Kenneth Backes; her brothers-in-law, Dean Ruggles and Daniel Marvin; and her nephews, Jim Backes and William Backes.
She is survived by : her sister Lois Ruggles; her niece Melodie Roman; her nephew David Marvin; and her great-niece Dawn Bookwalter (Rodney).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.
