Marilyn Jean Hensel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Jean Hensel (Marengo, Illinois), who passed away on August 20, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur; her son Robert; her grandson Kyle Hensel; and her siblings, Carl Nyman, Herb "Swanee" Swanlund, Doris Pearson and Barbara Medelberg.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Karen Hensel; her daughter Lori Karstensen (Robert); her grandchildren, Keri Nolen (Chris), Bob Hensel (Meredith), Adam, Alex and Nathan Karstensen; her great grandchildren, Cade, Cole, Caelan Nolen, Sam Hensel and Jackson Hensel; her sister Janice Anderson; and her sister-in-law Lorraine Swanlund. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Marengo.
